HAPPY 26th BDAY SUNNY!!

I surprised Sean and took him out to his favorite restaurant Ruth Chris on Thursday night. It was so fun. We got dressed up and ate at a perfect table overlooking Del Mar.

My mom later showed up with a special delivery.. HIS BIG PRESENT!!!

My mom and I pitched in and bought him a very nice lens for his camera.

Sean was soooo excited. I love seeing Sean excited! It is like nothing you have ever seen. He normally is a pretty jazzed type person.. but when he gets really excited about stuff.. it makes you wish you had his energy!

Sean is really getting more and more into photography. It is a true passion of his. Today he spent 10 hours in an advanced digital photography class! 

And he was soo excited to come home and show me all that he had learned.

Well, what can i say, I love this man. I am overly blessed to have him as my husband and get soo excited when I get the privilege to celebrate life with him!

Our dear friend Tiffany Keesey.. turned 25 and for her bday she wanted to have a bday party that was themed.. Flashback to High school. It was histerical. Everyone dressed up in whatever they represented in high school.. So of course i pulled out the cheer gear and sean the bball uniform.

Sean had the brilliant idea to take senior photos of everyone.. with those very cheesy poses.. He set up the entire cazebo as a photo booth. It was so funny!

We even had senior standouts that each person got to pick what they were in high school and then take a picture with that sign.

The entire night was very fun.

It is a great idea  that caused much laughter throughout the night!

HOORAY...I GOT A JOB!!!!

Praise be to our GOD!! Today I was hired by the Kaiser Pediatric Clinic in Rancho San Diego.

It is more than perfect for me. It is literally 7 minutes away from where we live, 3 minutes away from where Sean works, and a DAY position. I am going to work 5 days a week from 8am -5pm.

Sean works 9-5, so it is PERFECT. Also it is a travel position, so I only signed a short term contract which ends February 10th.. which is Perfect because we leave Mid February for Spring training...Plus I get my holidays OFF!!

Thank you so much for all your prayers!

Although I was beyond frustrated.. My God knew my needs and He blessed me with an Ideal job.

I feel very at peace and thankful for all that he continues to bless me and Sean with.

This last week has been packed with FUN!! 

From hanging out with the girls, watching Charger games with fam, bikeriding, doing dinners with friends, going to the san diego zoo, playing with 4 year olds at the pumpkin party, to having great weather and riding bikes in Coronado and having sweet dates with Sean.

This past weekend, Sean and i ate amazing sushi on Friday night with friends, Saturday surfed and rode bikes all day... Sunday watched the amazing Boston vs. Rays game.. and played whiffle ball with my best friend and her husband!

It was action packed and sooo fun!!

Oh and by the way.. I think I may have a job set up!

Praise the Lord! He is good! 

We are sooo blessed, it is ridiculous!

OktoBerFest!!

We kicked off the first weekend of October at the Oktoberfest in downtown La Mesa..

Our adorable friends Karrie and Brian Pyke came over before for some appetizers and Pumpkin Ale.. It was soo fun! We then had the interruption of a torrential downpour.. but we decided to go anyway! We spent about 40 minutes at the fair.. ate a delicious Carmel apple, some kettle corn and of course Brian ate a Brat.. 

It was fun to run around and splash in the puddles.. 

But it was a bummer because all the booths shut down on us.

So we came home and had a delightful night in the trailer playing cards.

We love Kar and Brian.. They are a bundle of fun!

Yesterday, September 30th 2008... was our ONE year Anniversary!

It was AWESOME!! In Sean's words it was "one of the best 24 hours ever, well NOT EVER, but ever.. but not ever!" ha ha.. To put it in a nutshell it was PURE BLISS!

For those of you that are San Diego natives.. you can agree with how beautiful the weather has been the last few days.. its been in the 90's inland and coastal!

So anyways, I thought we were going to have a very ordinary day, run errands and then just go to a nice dinner to celebrate.

Life has been crazy since we have been back and we are planning on going to NYC in December to really celebrate.. so I thought dinner was all that was planned..

Little did I know that my sweet husband planned out a whole day.

I woke up to a massage, then moved downstairs( ha ha 3 steps in the trai trai) to find chocolate covered strawberries, 2 dozen roses, cookies, and framed pictures of us.. with a very sweet note titled, " i am the luckiest". After that he told me my "book"(that he made) of this first year is on its way but didnt print in time for our anniversary.. Then he said he also booked us a room at the Estancia to stay for the night..

We started the morning at the Cottage for breakfast, one of our favorite spots in La jolla..

We then proceeded to walk the shores, get starbucks, find a special nook on the beach to lay out and relax...

After a great day at the beach we headed over to our beautiful, tranquil hotel.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay at the Estancia.. It is gorgeous and very quiet and romantic!

We swam in the pool (only ones at the pool) and got ready for dinner and then headed off to Piatti's Italian restraunt.

It was the Best!!

This restaraunt was delicious and the atmosphere was to die for. Thanks sis for recommending it.

It was really relaxed, bring your own wine type of a place, and you sit in this adorable patio around this big tree with twinkle lights.. SOOOO romantic!!

I was in bliss from morning til night.

I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful husband. He is my best friend!

Well i hope this blog isnt too nauseating and/or boring.

I just feel so blessed and am so thankful our God crossed our paths and guided us to be life long lovers!

This past week we have been up near Mammoth Lakes at a small lake called Rock Creek. It has been really relaxing and fun to just kick back and hang with the Walker clan. It is our first All family vacation. For those who know Hume lake, it is very similar, but a little smaller.

It is absolutely gorgeous up here. The aspen trees are turning gold and the sky is crystal clear blue as well as the lake is gorgeous.

We have had fun walking the lake, fishing, canoeing,shooting, reading, cooking, and playing games.

I caught my first fish with Sean yesterday.. I could have had a total of 5 fish.. but I was a little novice and impatient and reeled a little too fast on the first few and the fish flipped off my hook.

So sad. But i did get one rainbow trout. He was a little guy, but worth keeping since he was my first.

Today we headed to town and the girls got massages and the boys golfed.. It was fabulous. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. It was an Aveda Spa and it was fantastic.

I am now in starbucks trying to update this blog while Laura and Jamie do some work.

Speaking of work... I did not get that job I really wanted and that you were all praying for.. so I have been a little stressed, but know God has to be saving me for something better. Please continue to pray that a job opens up soon. I really need to work!

As for now, here are a few pictures my husband has taken while on this trip.. We will update with more once we come home.
